Their emphasis remains the American spinning wheel from 1775-1900, and they have substantial sections on fancy European wheels as well as the various accessories that textile tool collectors crave.
Choose a worsted weight wool, mohair, or alpaca that felts well. Finished Size, about 12" to 18" tall.
About 450 yarns of required for a solid color bear
Knit in worsted weight wool. Classic stripe or sheep design. Finished size approximately 17" long and 7" wide.
Yarn Requirements: 200 yards of the main color and 100 yards of secondary color (plus a little black for details on the sheep). Do not use superwash wool, cotton, rayon or synthetics.
Knit and felt a cuddly friend. Depending on your choice of yarn and the amount of felting, your koala will be 8 to 12 inches tall.
Use about 250 yards of the main color plus about 25 yards of black worsted weight (or heavier) yarn that felts well. Do not use superwash wool, cottons or synthetics.
